How does BimBimBikes work?

We are a platform that cooperates with more than 1650 bike rental partners all over the world. To make a reservation, please follow these 3 steps:

1- Select the city or country of your destination and, if you’d like, specify the type of bike you want to rent.
2- Compare the various rental points to find the perfect match for you.
3- Easily book your bike online.

Do I have to book online in order to reserve the bike?

Yes, we are an online booking platform because our purpose is to make it easier for you to rent a bike. Once you complete your reservation, you automatically receive the booking confirmation with all the information about your booking and the contact details of our partner.

Is delivery possible?

Yes, of course, it is possible! Mind, though, that each partner has its own system and its own delivery policies. Please contact BimBimBikes if you want to arrange delivery to a specific location and we will more than happy to help you.

All the destinations have all the types of bike?

Each of our partners represents specific rental points. Therefore, some of them may have different types while others may be specialized in a particular one. Please check the specific company page to see if we can satisfy your request.

Is it possible to rent bikes on Sundays?

Each of our partners has its own opening hours and days off. Please check the specific company page to see their opening hours.

How do I know if the bikes I would like to rent are available?

We assure bike availability most of the times. In case it happens that some bikes are not available, BimBimBikes will leverage on its strong network to provide you with the requested bike from another partner in the same destination. If neither this is possible we will communicate it to you and refund you totally.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel your booking up until 24h before the starting day of your rental in order to receive a full refund. If you inform us about your decision afterwards, we will have to contact the specific partner to reach a decision together.

Is it possible to rent a bike by phone or email?

It is not possible. Of course, you can call or write us if you need assistance or information, but the only way to reserve the bike is to make the online booking.

Can I pay by cash on my day of arrival to the destination?

It is not possible. If you want to reserve the bikes, you have to book them online through our website, so you are sure that you will find them once you arrive.

Are the prices present on BimBimBikes website the same I would find on the website of the companies?

Yes. We guarantee the same price the companies would offer you. Moreover, you can compare prices, locations and bike types between different companies and easily book online and avoid possible language barriers.

Does BimBimBikes own the bikes and the shops listed on this website?

No. BimBimBikes offer this platform to make it easier for customers to identify and book the rental bikes at any time and anywhere in the world. For this reason, we work with partners all over the world. We are based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, but the address is our office’s address, not a bike rental point.
